About Injective
Injective is a blockchain built specifically for finance, with an order book, derivatives and tokenized real-world assets supported at the protocol level rather than by individual applications. INJ is the native asset.
How Injective Works
Rather than leaving exchange logic to smart contracts, Injective builds a fully on-chain order book into the chain itself, with sub-second finality and no gas cost for placing orders. It is built on Cosmos tooling, so it connects to other chains via IBC, and it supports Ethereum-compatible and WebAssembly contracts.
The History of Injective
Founded by Eric Chen and Albert Chon in 2018 and incubated by Binance Labs, Injective launched its main network in 2021. It has focused consistently on financial applications, adding derivatives, prediction markets and tokenized equities and commodities over time.
What INJ Is Used For
INJ secures the chain through staking, pays fees and carries governance rights. A weekly auction buys INJ with a share of protocol fees and burns it, tying supply reduction directly to activity on the network.

Why buy Injective with YouHodler? +
YouHodler combines advanced security and encryption with a simple way to buy and sell INJ, fast crypto transactions, support for multiple fiat currencies, and a platform that works for newcomers and experienced traders alike.
Is Injective a good investment? +
Injective has a clear specialization in finance, real fee-driven token burns and fast on-chain order books. It is a smaller ecosystem than the general-purpose chains and depends on attracting financial applications that could equally build elsewhere. INJ is volatile — research it before investing.
Can I buy Injective today and sell it tomorrow? +
Yes. YouHodler supports selling as well as buying, so you can acquire INJ and later exchange it for fiat currencies such as USD or EUR. Transactions settle quickly, major fiat currencies are supported, and withdrawals go out by bank transfer.
Is it safe to buy Injective? +
Buying INJ is generally safe on a reliable platform like YouHodler, which applies data encryption, identity verification and multi-layer account protection. The asset itself stays highly volatile, so prices can move sharply over short periods.
How do I convert Injective to cash? +
Connect a bank account, debit card or credit card to your YouHodler profile, exchange your INJ for a fiat currency such as USD or EUR, then withdraw the balance straight to your bank.
How much is $100 worth of Injective right now? +
That depends on the live INJ price, which moves constantly. Use the price chart on this page to see the current rate and work out exactly how much INJ $100 buys at this moment.
