About Quant
Quant is a technology company whose Overledger platform connects enterprise systems and blockchains through a single interface. QNT is the token used for licensing and access to that platform.
How Quant Works
Overledger is an interoperability gateway rather than a blockchain: it sits above existing networks and gives institutions one API to reach several of them. Because there is no new chain to secure, the design avoids introducing another consensus layer, and licensing is paid in QNT.
The History of Quant
Founded in 2018 by Gilbert Verdian, who previously held security roles across government and financial institutions, Quant has focused on enterprise and central-bank work rather than retail DeFi. It has participated in tokenized-money and settlement pilots with established financial institutions.
What QNT Is Used For
QNT is required to license Overledger and to pay for platform access, with tokens locked for the duration of a license. Its supply is capped, and demand is tied to enterprise adoption rather than on-chain activity.

Why buy Quant with YouHodler? +
YouHodler combines advanced security and encryption with a simple way to buy and sell QNT, fast crypto transactions, support for multiple fiat currencies, and a platform that works for newcomers and experienced traders alike.
Is Quant a good investment? +
Quant targets institutional interoperability, a market with slower cycles but larger contracts, and its capped supply plus licensing model give QNT a direct usage link. Enterprise sales cycles are long and much of the project's progress is not visible on-chain, which makes adoption hard to verify. QNT is volatile — research it before investing.
Can I buy Quant today and sell it tomorrow? +
Yes. YouHodler supports selling as well as buying, so you can acquire QNT and later exchange it for fiat currencies such as USD or EUR. Transactions settle quickly, major fiat currencies are supported, and withdrawals go out by bank transfer.
Is it safe to buy Quant? +
Buying QNT is generally safe on a reliable platform like YouHodler, which applies data encryption, identity verification and multi-layer account protection. The asset itself stays highly volatile, so prices can move sharply over short periods.
How do I convert Quant to cash? +
Connect a bank account, debit card or credit card to your YouHodler profile, exchange your QNT for a fiat currency such as USD or EUR, then withdraw the balance straight to your bank.
How much is $100 worth of Quant right now? +
That depends on the live QNT price, which moves constantly. Use the price chart on this page to see the current rate and work out exactly how much QNT $100 buys at this moment.
