About Tron
Tron is a smart-contract blockchain built for high throughput and very low fees, with a particular concentration of stablecoin transfers. TRX is the native asset, used to pay for network resources, stake for voting power and participate in governance.
How Tron Works
Tron uses delegated proof of stake: holders vote for a set of twenty-seven block producers, called Super Representatives, who take turns producing blocks. Blocks come roughly every three seconds. Rather than paying a fee for every action, users can freeze TRX to obtain bandwidth and energy, which makes routine transfers effectively free.
The History of Tron
Founded by Justin Sun, Tron launched as an Ethereum token in 2017 and moved to its own chain in 2018. It acquired BitTorrent the same year. Over time it became one of the main networks for dollar-stablecoin transfers, handling very large volumes of settlement.
What TRX Is Used For
TRX pays for network resources and is staked to gain voting power over block producers and protocol decisions. It also underpins the DeFi and stablecoin activity running on the chain, where cheap transfers are the main draw.

Why buy Tron with YouHodler? +
YouHodler combines advanced security and encryption with a simple way to buy and sell TRX, fast crypto transactions, support for multiple fiat currencies, and a platform that works for newcomers and experienced traders alike.
Is Tron a good investment? +
Tron carries enormous real transaction volume, largely from stablecoin settlement, and its fee model makes it practical for small transfers. Governance is concentrated among a small validator set, and the project is closely identified with its founder, who has attracted regulatory attention. TRX is volatile — research it before investing.
Can I buy Tron today and sell it tomorrow? +
Yes. YouHodler supports selling as well as buying, so you can acquire TRX and later exchange it for fiat currencies such as USD or EUR. Transactions settle quickly, major fiat currencies are supported, and withdrawals go out by bank transfer.
Is it safe to buy Tron? +
Buying TRX is generally safe on a reliable platform like YouHodler, which applies data encryption, identity verification and multi-layer account protection. The asset itself stays highly volatile, so prices can move sharply over short periods.
How do I convert Tron to cash? +
Connect a bank account, debit card or credit card to your YouHodler profile, exchange your TRX for a fiat currency such as USD or EUR, then withdraw the balance straight to your bank.
How much is $100 worth of Tron right now? +
